What is MADD – Make a Difference Day?

A volunteer-driven environmental initiative where we:

  • Pick up litter – Cleaning up local areas to reduce pollution.
  • Fundraising to plant trees – Restoring natural habitats with YDMT (Yorkshire Dale Millennium Trust), we hope to raise £10,000 to plant 1,000 trees.
  • Engage with our community – Bringing together businesses, families, and individuals.

 

 

Our Goal: 1-hour litter pick | 100+ participants | 1,000 trees planted | 10,000 pieces of litter removed

 

 

Saturday 10th May – Litter Pick Itinerary

10:30

Meet at FOUNDRY (2nd floor) for tea/coffee, hear from our Eco-Ambassadors, YDMT, and get your litter picking equipment.

 

11am

Leave FOUNDRY to walk to starting point at Holes Bay

 

11:15am

1 hour litter pick commences. The group will split to cover the whole bay.

 

12:15pm

Meet back at litter collection point (TBC) and head back to FOUNDRY.

 

12:45pm

Hand back equipment and stay for networking, refreshments and a raffle at FOUNDRY.

 

FOUNDRY is located in the Dolphin Shopping centre: 1st and 2nd Floors, Brownsea House, 10, Dolphin Centre, Poole BH15 1SR

The event took place at 10:30am on the 10th May 2025 in Holes Bay, Poole, UK. It was then be followed by a networking opportunity at our offices, located at FOUNDRY Poole.
